Reverse discharge protection
Reverse polarity protection (with self-recovery)
Undervoltage protection
Configuration:
Solar panel: For a 12V system, 40 solar panels in series should be selected, and the maximum power point voltage of the factory test should be above 18V. The 24V system should use two of the above-mentioned solar panel wires: the wire connecting the solar panel and the Wells controller is best selected according to 1A / m㎡.
Advantages of MPPT:
The Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) system is an electrical system that enables photovoltaic panels to output more power by adjusting the working status of electrical modules. FIG. 1 shows the relationship between the photovoltaic cell output power Pb and the output voltage ub and output current ib. In the figure, A is the power point (general power point) when the ordinary controller makes the photovoltaic cell work at 12V, and only outputs 53W; B is the MPPT controller, which makes the photovoltaic cell always work at the maximum power point, so that it can output power points up to 75W (Maximum power point).
The maximum power point is mainly affected by ambient temperature and solar light intensity. In the case of constant solar light intensity, as the temperature increases, the open-circuit voltage of the photovoltaic cell decreases, and the maximum output power decreases accordingly. When the temperature is constant and the solar light intensity is increased, the open-circuit voltage of the photovoltaic cell is basically unchanged. The short-circuit current increases greatly, and the maximum output power greatly increases.
